Symbology: The Heavens, particularly the stars and celestial events like comets and meteor showers.

Demeanor: Lawful, assumed to be Good

Edicts of Faith:

Priests and Priestesses of Supremos practice astrology and divination by the omens in the sky. Anyone using divination by any other means is labeled a witch and assumed to be serving one of the enemies of Supremos. A solar eclipse is a dire threat of evil.

  • Obey the Law, the Church and those in authority over you.
  • Honor the Law, the Church and those who share in your devotion to Supremos.
  • Sustain the Law, the Church and those who are under your authority.

Enemies: Depravos, Necromia, Merasyna

Lesser Enemies: Vampires and their cultists, Lycanthropes and those who protect them, Liches and their minions. Tieflings are considered damned and in need of purification and salvation. Fae and Changelings are vilified as thieves, liars and tricksters who defy the Law. Orcs are monsters, probably demonic, and Goblins are the literal servants of Depravos. Sylendria

Rating: Greater Deity

Titles: Giver of Life, Mother of Creation, Queen of the Fae, Champion of Wives

Symbology: Peacock Feathers

Demeanor: Benevolent

Edicts of Faith:

She makes the crops grow, gives the power of healing and health to the ingredients of mixology, and blesses females with fertility and strength. She is generous with her blessings and gifts until those things are used for ill purposes, and then she takes such things away with rot and illness. If crops become beset with vermin or pestilence, it was because Sylendria was displeased.

Worshippers: Many Changelings, Humans (though as the wife of Supremos, not as the Fae Queen), Farmers of all races, most healers who value Life and even some of the Elves at times.

Enemies: Necromia, who perverts and mocks Life with her blasphemous undead, and Depravos, who also perverts her creations, twisting them with his evil intentions.

Worshippers: Orcs

Enemies: Titanos for repeatedly bedding his favorite wife, Lythria, and Supremos who challenges his dominance, particularly of the sky.

Protect the beauty of nature, for the land is Leylalumina’s royal garden, and her children (the elves) are its caretakers. Cut down the weeds (undead and things that corrupt) that threaten and twist. Enemies: Necromia because she twists life and corrupts death, and Depravos for the things he corrupts.

Lesser Enemies: Undead, Lycanthropes, Goblins, poachers, pestilence, vermin and any creature that is too numerous and needs culling for a balanced ecology.

Demeanor: Benevolent, leans Neutral

Edicts of Faith:

The youngest son of Leylalumina, traditional elves view Vaendrathyr as a hapless fool, a deserter of duty and a lazy gadabout. Those who have been similarly judged find kinship with Vaendrathyr, the bringer of luck, the humble prince of simple pleasures and playfulness. Vaendrathyr is known to be charming and handsome, taking many lovers but never a mate. He enjoys a good prank, even if the joke is on him. In his faith, heartfelt laughter is the true repellant of evil.

Vaelvyrna

Rating: Lesser Deity

Titles: The Fiercest Star, Princess of Blades

Symbology: A pair of crossed elven blades

Demeanor: Ultimately Benevolent but Lawful and demanding

Edicts of Faith:

One of Leylalumina’s children, Vaelvyrna is the matron of elven soldiers, hunters and warriors. She taught the art of blade dancing, moving with flourish and finesse to the downfall of her enemies. Her faith is excellence in form and combat. Armor and weapons must be polished and well maintained, for combat is as much about appearance as it is about skill. Moves and maneuvers should be practiced until armor and weapons become part of the body and all movement is fluid and precise. Her devotees are devout and unyielding, interpreting any loss as a need for more training and any win as a need to train for the next challenge.

Worshippers: Elves, particularly those who devote their lives to hunting and fighting the enemies of the land.

Enemies: Leylalumina’s enemies. She also vehemently disapproves of her little brother, Vaendrathyr, finding his laziness a detriment to the security of Leylalumina’s domain.

Merasyna

Rating: Greater Deity

Titles: Queen of the Treacherous Sea

Demeanor: Self Serving

Edicts of Faith:

She claims dominion over the sea and demands payment and homage in recognition of her reign. An offering of gold or jewels must be paid to the sea for safe passage over the water. Her priests and priestesses sometimes call for living sacrifices, usually of captives. They are suspended by the ankles with large hooks over the water, and then their throats are slit so the blood will bring sharks to which the corpse is then fed. If no sharks come, the offering is rejected, a very bad omen.

Worshippers: Pirates, Sirens, and any that are willing to appease her for her favor.

Enemies: Supremos and Gorak for trying to claim dominance of her domain.

Lesser Enemies: Those who take from her domain without a worthy offering.

From the humblest harvest festivals to the grandest weddings of noble houses, she watches unseen, ensuring that each detail falls into place. It is said she is the divine hand behind fortunate turns: the cake arriving at the perfect moment, the venue opening when all others have failed, the unseen alignment that allows a celebration to flourish. She is rarely seen, hidden in plain sight, preserving the harmony of every gathering.

Worshippers: First worshipped among the Dark Elves, her recognition has spread through human lands and through them throughout all of Lythria. She is especially favored by those who labor to create memorable occasions: planners, hosts, artisans, and merchants.

Worshippers: Vampires and their cultists, Liches and their minions, necromancers and nihilists.

Enemies: Sylendria first and foremost, Supremos, Titanos, Leylalumina and her Children. Merasyna and Gorak are treated with disdain but not outright hostility...yet.

Lesser Enemies: All that lives, even the lycanthropes. She will claim Lythria in darkness and death.
